We certainly weren’t planning on buying a pool table. It wasn’t in our budget for that week or even that month. But when a friend of mine decided to sell his, we jumped on it. I have to say, our family life has changed! My 11-year old son and I play almost every night now for an hour. My son and 16-year old daughter play daily and really enjoy this time together. We host a large Thanksgiving meal every year for our friends—and this year was the best by far—attributed largely to the new pool table. Everyone wants to get in on the game. Games are a common ground for fun and social interaction. We had no idea that a pool table could enrich our lives to this degree. Funny—maybe I can take 12 Spheres Black and White (or my Triptych version) and use it for inspiration for a new line of Pool Room Art!Tag Archive: Abstract Art
